We us a complete, locally grounded approach to pregnancy and birth support. Columbus’ only dedicated prenatal yoga studio provides a calm, safe place just for expectant families — classes designed by instructors who specialize in pregnancy physiology and comfort. Our team of trained and experienced providers connects you with a curated network of trusted local experts (midwives, lactation consultants, pelvic health therapists, pediatric providers) so you get coordinated care that meets your needs. Above all, we center a strong foundation of education and practical preparation for birth: evidence-based childbirth classes, hands-on comfort and coping techniques, and individualized planning that builds confidence for pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. Friendly, informed, and rooted in our community, we help you prepare with clarity and support every step of the way.

We are available with quick turnaround times at 706-325-4467 and breathingbirth@gmail.com. You can also reach us through our contact page or scheduling a consultation here.

We offer flexible on your family’s needs. For doula services, after an initial consultation, a paid retainer fee and signed contract guarantees your EDD. Balance payment may be schedule in full or as a payment plan. Often, you can use your HSA to help cover doula services or your work may offer reimbursement for services.
We believe in support for all. If our pricing is outside your budget, we will consider bartering or a sliding scale at the doula or instructor’s discretion. Please indicate in the contact form if you’d like us to consider this option.

We are an inclusive service provider. Our doulas and educators honor and welcome people of every race, ethnicity, nationality, language, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, family structure, age, ability, religion, and cultural tradition. We respect each person’s unique background, lived experience, and bodily autonomy.
We support all paths to parenthood and every birth choice. This includes diverse conception stories (fertility treatments, surrogacy, adoption, spontaneous conception, and chosen single parenthood) and all forms of birth: unmedicated and medicated, vaginal and Cesarean, water birth, VBAC, inductions, home or hospital births, and births with midwives or obstetric teams. We affirm each family’s right to make informed choices and to have those choices respected.
We commit to culturally humble care: listening without judgment, centering clients’ preferences, advocating for equitable treatment in clinical settings, and continually learning to better serve communities historically marginalized in maternal care. We strive to provide accessible, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental support, and to create a safe space where dignity, consent, and respect guide every interaction.

Childbirth Education
-
Childbirth education is an important way to empower expectant parents with knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to navigate pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. While your body and baby do know the way, knowing what to expect, what signs to look for, and tools to stay present and within can help to make labor feel more connected and easeful.
We believe both partners should be informed and prepared for a successful and supported birth team.

Our Breathing Birth CBE offers a more intimate, personalized experience where your questions matter. Class sizes are small so we can tailor content to your needs, explore comfort measures, birth preferences, and partner roles, and spend generous time on the topics that are important to you. Unlike third-party classes held inside hospitals, our curriculum is broader and not limited to hospital protocols. We cover a wider range of coping strategies, physiologic birth, informed decision-making, postpartum realities, and community resources—giving you practical skills and confidence for the whole childbearing

The Breathing Birth CBE course is designed to suit your needs. We offer two options for scheduling.
Weekend Intensive is a 1 or 2 day class for those close to your EDD or with a limited schedule. Our curriculum includes a wide scope of information and this format can often be an overwhelming amount of information.
A 6-week series is recommended for couples who are able to dedicate an extended about of time. This 60-90 session is rolled out in chunks to allow time to process and return with questions and practiced tools for birth.
-
Our Breathing Birth CBE is typically offered as a private, 1:1 series. You may be interested in our Breathing Birth Prenatal Yoga + CBE which is a weekly class offering movement, breath, childbirth education topics through a support group-style setting.
We will also offer quarterly group CBE classes at a reduced rate. Check our calendar or join or email list to be the first to know.
-
We believe it is important that both you and your partner are educated and prepared. With that being said, it is not necessary for both to attend. There will be 1-2 sessions when your partner will be able to practice comfort measures and when we will cover information specifically related them. For those sessions, at a minimum, we encourage both to participate.
